How it works
Indigofast cultivates indigo plants, extracts pigment, processes it into products, and ensures quality before distribution across India.
Cultivation and Harvesting
Indigofast begins its process with the careful cultivation of Indigofera tinctoria plants. These plants are grown in the rich soils of Tamil Nadu, ensuring the highest quality leaves. Once matured, the leaves are meticulously harvested by skilled workers, ensuring that only the best leaves are selected for processing.
Processing and Extraction
After harvesting, the indigo leaves undergo a natural fermentation process. This traditional method, pioneered by Mr. M. Tamilarasan, involves soaking the leaves in water and allowing them to ferment. The resulting liquid is then oxidized to extract the rich indigo pigment, which is the core of Indigofast’s product offerings.
Product Formation
In Indigofast, the next phase : The extracted indigo pigment is processed into Natural Indigo Blue Cake, Powder, and Leaves Powder. This involves drying, grinding, and packaging to preserve natural properties, ensuring the products meet high-quality standards for use in various applications.
Quality Assurance and Distribution
Each product batch undergoes strict quality testing to ensure purity and effectiveness. Once approved, they are distributed across India, including to local businesses and textile industries, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Indigofast emphasizes customer support and satisfaction.
